Mr. Usman ABDULMALIK, Founder/Consulting Executive
- Usman Abdulmalik is a professional manager, consummate banker, and a risk, control and audit professional. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business administration and MBA from University of Ilorin. He also has a MSc Finance degree from the University of Lagos.
- Usman holds professional memberships such as Associate, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria; Member, Nigeria Institute of Management; Member, Institute of Internal Auditors; Fellow, Association of Enterprise Risk Management Professionals.
- He has spent over twenty-nine years in the banking industry across various functions such as banking operations, business development, credit administration, internal audit and assurance.
- Usman held various managerial roles in the course of his banking career where he demonstrated leadership capabilities especially in the areas of: - Team building
- Usman is also involved in social responsibility programs such as participation in programmes of children with down syndrome and old peoples’ homes.

As Divisional Head, Finance & Management Services at a time, he had over sight functions over Personnel, Admin, Accounts and IT Departments (the respective Heads of Departments were his direct reports, and the Division had combined staff of over 100).
As Chief Inspector too, he had responsibility to provide assurance to the Board of Directors and Management on the efficiency of the Internal Control Systems. Staff strength of the Department was over 50.
These assignments made him member of Executive Management Committee, Assets & Liabilities Committee (ALCO), Strategic Planning Committee and Staff Disciplinary Committee.
At First Bank (Up to 28/2/2019), he headed various Units in the Internal Audit Department, and was also assigned other responsibilities such as mentoring of new hires.
